Sessions of Pattern Making and Sewing Skills

Greetings unto ye fellow members of ye vestiarium Guild

pattern, and sewing sessions

As summer is approaching, it is now time to take a look at the closet, and decide on new garb to compliement your persona. Beginning at the end on Feb on thy third Sunday at noon for a period of four hours and continuning on with the first and third Sunday of the month the vestiaruim Guild will be meeting to do personal and group projects on the involvement of designing and sewing garb for Western European Culture from 1066 to 1603 AD.

Feb 19th will be just a get together to talk on persona's for clothing design. You will only need a notebook for this date. The first weekend of March we will get down to designing and making of the garments.

The guild members shall be respnsible for bringing your own tools, fabric and sewing notions to these practices. Sewing machines will be allowed, but one should make an attempt to try making their garb the old method way, as sewing machines did not exist by in the period that we represent with our persona.

If a clash of session times lands on an Arch Duchy of Connacht Event or Demo, the session shall be cancelled but we can all of the guild gather at the event or demo breifly for questions and answers, and maybe even a cup of coffee for those interested. These sessions are open to all that are members in good standing with the Adrian Empire and is open to all for information exchange at Events and Demos.

For location please contact the magister Guild - Lady Christiana Elizabeth Constable of ye Phasiani lacus Manerium (pheasant01@yahoo.com) for directions to sewing and pattern sessions at her castle. Place in topic line your play name, and directions too; as Christiana does not usually check junk mail and usually delete this type of e mail.
